THE MECHANICS
The mechanics at John Supan & Associates Inc. have been repairing sewing machines of all types around the US for the past 45 years. Starting as a Bernina sewing machine salesman in 1978, John Supan Sr. began laying the foundation for years to come. Him and his son John Supan Jr. eventually shifted the focus of the company to repairing the machines. By 1990, our repairmen ranged over 35 states at various Minnesota Fabrics and Hancock Fabrics locations. The company used to occupy a storefront in Chicago Heights, IL named The Sewing Machine Hospital.
John Sr. passed away in 1990 and his son, John, was left in charge of the business. John has been repairing machines for four decades, and he continues to keep this great business going to this day. John and his son Johnny continue to fix machines in Northwest Indiana & several Chicagoland locations.
We’ll take care of all your sewing, serger, and embroidery machine needs and issues both home and industrial types.
